AST is part of the Swan Investments Group and a sister company of Inflite Jet Centre and Inflite Engineering Services.

AST was formed in 1996 from the treatments division of HE Ltd. Soon after that date a manufacturing division was added mainly to support the manufacturing facility at Inflite Engineering Services.

In 2000 it was decided that AST should develop it own customer base, although continue to support IES when required. It was at this stage the Aircraft Component Repair division was formed for both civil and military. Therefore today Aerospace Service Treatments consist of three divisions
